Indications

Fragyl is used as an antibacterial preparation to treat vaginal, stomach, skin, joints and respiratory infections, except for vaginal yeast infection and common viral infections such as cold or flu.
If prescribed by a doctor Fragyl may be used for other purposes not listed above.

Mechanism of Action

Fragyl affects bacterial or parasite cells by entering them which causes the chemical reaction when molecules that can damage and destroy cells, the so-called free radicals, are produced as a result of interaction.
